Charlie Kirk (1993 - 2025)

Since Wednesday afternoon, my thoughts have been on the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was originally from the Chicago, Illinois area. On the event Charlie entered university he became dissolutioned with the academic environment. Kirk dropped out of university and shortly afterward founded the organization, Turning Point USA. Turning point USA fought against Marxist indoctrination in our universities. Kirk’s organization quickly grew in popularity as he toured the country with his anti-Marxist, anti-woke and anti-trans ideological message. Kirk upheld civil discourse above all else. Kirk briefly wrote for Breitbart News.

Kirk became a quintessential force for conservative thought for his generation. Kirk made it cool to be Christian again. Kirk made it cool to be conservative again.

Kirk endorsed and supported the 2024 presidential campaign of Donald Trump. Kirk is credited as having delivered the youth vote for Donald Trump. Not since Ronald Reagan‘s campaign in 1984 has a republican central candidate received the male youth vote, 18 - 30.

Kirk had all the ingredients to have a career in politics and perhaps he would have become president one day. All of that is now gone.

Charlie’s two children will hear stories of the father, but they’ll never have memories of their father.
